International summer school at DPU: Schools for health

This year the Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, will host an international summer school which aims to foster students' theoretical insight and analytical competences in the field of health education and health promotion. There will be a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and get feedback from both lecturers and practitioners in the field. The deadline for Ph.d. students is still open.

Can education change the climate?

How do we learn to live in a world hit by a climate crisis? The global think-tank on education IALEI presented eight recommendations at an international climate conference at the Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, on 11 December 2009.

The Danish School of Education, Aarhus University, offers over twenty postgraduate programmes to approximately 4,000 students. Currently, the school offers three postgraduate programmes in English:

  • Masters in Lifelong Learning: Policy and Management (MALLL)
  • Leadership and Innovation in Complex Systems (LAICS)
  • Master in ICT and Learning (MIL)

PhD-course / International Summer School: Schools for Health: Theory, Research and Practice
The course/international summer school, aims to foster students' theoretical insight and analytical competences in the field of health education and health promotion. The focus will be on discussing different ways to use theory in shaping the research focus, developing analytical frameworks and making sense of empirical data. There will be a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and get feedback from both lecturers and practitioners in the field.
